These terms govern your use of the Rakt Suvidha mobile apps and websites, operated by The MEM Foundation. By creating an account you agree to these terms.

1. What Rakt Suvidha is — and isn't

Rakt Suvidha is a coordination tool that connects blood donors with NGO organizers for donation camps and urgent blood requirements.

Not medical advice. The eligibility date shown in the app is an estimate based on your recorded donation dates and standard donation-gap guidelines. It does not replace medical screening. Final eligibility to donate is always determined by qualified medical staff at the donation site.

2. Accounts

You must be 18 or older to use the app.
You sign in with your phone number and a one-time password. Keep your phone number's access secure; you are responsible for activity on your account.
Provide accurate information — especially your blood group and donation dates, which other users rely on.

3. For donors

Joining an organization with an invite code shares your profile and contact details with that organization, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Self-reported donations affect only your eligibility date; they do not generate certificates.
Scan a camp QR code only if you actually donated at that camp. Certificates are issued on the basis of your confirmation.

4. For organizers

Organizer features unlock only after your organization is verified by us. We may reject or revoke verification, or suspend organizations, to protect donors.
Donor contact details may be used only to coordinate blood donation — camps and urgent requirements. Using them for marketing, harassment, or any other purpose is prohibited and grounds for suspension.
Urgent requests must reflect genuine blood requirements.

5. Certificates

Donation certificates are records of a QR-verified donation at a registered camp. They confirm that a donation was recorded through the app; they are not government documents. Tampering with or forging certificates is prohibited.

6. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service: no false donation records, no fake urgent requests, no attempts to access other users' data, no interference with the service's operation.

7. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Sections concerning certificates, data retention, and liability survive termination.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that a donor will be available for any urgent requirement, that notifications will always be delivered, or that the service will be uninterrupted. To the maximum extent permitted by law, The MEM Foundation is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

9. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
